The excellent value for money and the unique atmosphere make it a highly recommended visit, though some have experienced initial delays in service.
"We have lived close to Nantgarw China Works for 45 years and only just got around to visiting this lovely place. It is a local treasure, run by enthusiastic volunteers who are delightful. We were welcomed as we stepped through the door and led upstairs for a short informative film. Our guide then told us all about the history of the site and its unique manufacture of fine porcelain. We were then taken to meet Sally Stubbings, the ceramicist in residence, in her workshop. We then toured the grounds to see the kilns and derelict workshops. Afterwards we were treated to a cup of tea and a Welsh cake. The price for the visit and tea were excellent value, I thoroughly recommend this place and the people dedicating their time to keep it in operation."

"Came here with my Grandfather about a week ago and we both loved it. Staff were lovely, especially the lady who lead our tour and provided us with plenty of interesting information about the history of the site and how the pottery was made. Certainly a fun day out for any pottery fanatic!"

"This wonderful and historic place deserves to be much better known and is well worth a major detour, even if you have no particular interest in ceramics. On a rainy day we had the warmest of welcomes. Everybody was exceptionally friendly and Celia gave us a superb guided tour. The house and gardens are most attractive and this is a living place, full of activity and great plans to make it even better in future. Tea was most beautifully served and outstandingly good value. The shop has an excellent selection at a wide range of prices. The £4 admission we paid was amazing value. Nobody should be put off visiting by that small charge."
