What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the magical atmosphere of Fforest Fawr Sculpture Trail, calling it a 'fairyland' with enchanting wooden sculptures and natural caves. The free entry and parking are significant draws, making it an excellent value for families and dog walkers. While the natural terrain can be uneven and seating is limited, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning return visits.
"4 of us went here yesterday, myself, my daughter and my parents. Never knew about the place until 3 days ago. What a magical place. From the dragon in the car park to wizards and caves it's like a fairyland. The car park is free and the walk is free what's not to like. So many different walking paths to take but you wont get lost. Lots of dog walkers around so dogs are fine. Seen some people with a pram but I would say it would be very awkward for a wheelchair user. My mother has walking difficulties and she was ok, but the terrain is a natural forestry so stepping over broken logs etc. Not easy for a wheelchair. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is because of lack of seating while on the walks. There really should be a few benches scattered around. Will definitely return though."

"Went back in August 2020 with my family. Nice little walk doing the Sculpture Trail, especially with my nieces and nephews in tow!
They loved having their pictures taken with all the weird and wonderful sculptures and thought the 3 Bears Cave was “cool”.
The trail itself isn’t challenging, but I definitely recommend wearing at least trainers or something sturdy as the ground isn’t always flat (some rogue tree roots around).
And remember folks, please take all rubbish with you before you leave as it just ruins the experience for others (and you’re better than that)!"

"We loved our first visit here even with the rain pelting down on us. We thoroughly enjoyed the sculpture walk and will be back soon to visit the caves."
