Ullen Sentalu is a 1.2ha private museum in the north part of Jogja. They divide the museum into 3 parts based on the tour theme (details of each theme can be seen on their website). I tried 2 out of 3 tours and they were all amazing. The guides were very informative and funny, and the collections were nicely handled and curated.
If you have plenty of time, you should try all the tours, but if you do not, I recommend you try the Vorstenlanden tour. This tour has the biggest area, is more focused on keraton history, and you can get tea and cookies at the end of the tour to feel an Indische vibe.
The museum itself was magical; I liked the garden so much. Unfortunately, documentation inside the tour area is prohibited due to copyright.
They have a restaurant and a gallery in the exit area if you are hungry after the tour or want to buy some batik or accessories."

"Very fulfilling visit guided by mbak Tina 🫶 we arrived at about 14.45 and was immediately escorted to start the tour. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Strictly no photos, videos or voice recording allowed, only in designated spots for pictures. Took the Vorstenlanden tour, 1 hour, ended with a cute little tea time, highly recommended. English guided tour available."

"We did about one hour drive from the city to reach this place, which is located at the foot of Mount Merapi. The museum has 3 zones of tour to choose and I chose the Adiluhung Mataram Tour, which explains about the history of Javanese royalties. But the #1 rule of the museum is: you cannot take photos or videos along the tour. So we just took them outside. With all the greeneries around, you can still take beautiful pictures :)"
