Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Carnegie SVRA for its affordability and diverse off-road opportunities suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders. The challenging trails and open riding areas are a major draw. However, the extreme heat and lack of cell reception are significant drawbacks that require careful preparation.

"A great place to bring dirt bikes and ATVs and drive around. This place is not packed but really fun to drive around. Just $5 to enter. If you don’t have ATV or a dirt bike you can use a 4*4 car to drive on open ground. It was super fun."

"Be careful! It can get very very hot and there's no cell reception! And bring water!!! Tracy was 91°F but my truck was reading 103°F in the shade.

I found Pottery (or potter's) loop to be quite challenging but manageable for an experienced street bike rider first time dirt bike rider. All the other trails are much harder.

If you're experienced, you aren't reading my review to see if you should go or not. If you're new and wondering, avoid going alone. I have plenty of outdoor training that the worst i was going to have happen is a flat tire and a long walk back to my truck. There is no cell phone reception and 2-way can be spotting on the back side of a mountain. So having fellow riders that can get help in case of anything is a must for new riders. The trail was about 10min long or more at 10-15mph. Try walking that injured and no bike and it can be over 1hr.

If you're thinking about buying a bike and going here, go with the biggest small bike you can flat foot when stopped. I'm 5ft 7in and my 2025 CRF300L is a little tall. You can grow into a bigger bike. But if you can't handle a tall motorcycle like a bicycle, you'll struggle here and it won't be fun. Also, a 150cc or smaller will not have too much power giving you more control. Sure, there are times you need the power to climb. But i think the struggle of less power is better than the struggle of too much. Whiskey Throttle can cause you more problems than having to "flinstone" a smaller bike up a hill."

"A nice little 4x4 area. We took a model 3 out there and it was pretty good in the dirt surprisingly. It was a four-wheel drive version so that helped and my son knows how to drive off road.
It wasn't too big though. It would be nice of his little bit bigger."
