"The hike is short and the path is clearly visible, but it was not as smooth amd gentle as I expected. It is an engrossing and thoroughly enjoyable trek. There are several places to pause and enjoy views in different directions, but the view down the river gully where the little telescope is mounted is my favorite. We were there a few minutes after sunset. There are no visible roads or structures in that direction, and with rows of hills shifting from blues to blacks were so beautiful."
