What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Inaja Memorial Park for its stunning sunset views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for reflection and photography. While some note the trail isn't perfectly smooth, the panoramic vistas and picnic facilities are highly appreciated. It's seen as a valuable, albeit simple, stop for those traveling through the area.
"The sunset was awesome there is a hiking trail. This place is to honor the 11 wildland firefighters who lost their lives. Limited parking I went on a Thursday around 445 pm and had no issue parking. There are multiple pic nic tables plenty for at least 10 groups of people."

"The hike is short and the path is clearly visible, but it was not as smooth amd gentle as I expected. It is an engrossing and thoroughly enjoyable trek. There are several places to pause and enjoy views in different directions, but the view down the river gully where the little telescope is mounted is my favorite. We were there a few minutes after sunset. There are no visible roads or structures in that direction, and with rows of hills shifting from blues to blacks were so beautiful."
Cheryl McLeod
"Great little hidden spot on the side of the road for a quick bite to eat or rest while on a family outing. You'll also get to learn about local history with the memorial plaque.
I had the chance to wait out a strong thunderstorm in the ample parking lot and it served it's purpose well."
