"If you're looking for the cutest, cleanest little historic town in southern California, this is the place! They are keeping it original staying original preserving history while making it fun and educational with the little signs through the town. I haven't seen one piece of trash, graffiti, or decay. It's hard to believe you are still in California, lol. We go up several times a year for the pie, the snow, the shopping, and to get away from the chaos of the big city. We have been there many times and are still finding new things! We found a candy mine last time. There are some lovely places to stay if you make it a weekend. The historic hotels and the little historic cottages they Airbnb are also great.
