"A nice 360 degree view from a platform at this local peak rewards the climb up here. Several interpretive signs and a few picnic tables.
Came here on bicycle from the campground via the Ridge Fire Road. Note the campground is currently closed to cars for renovation (July ‘25), but accessible on foot or bike.
Several other routes here.
I came down the back of Ridge Fire Road past the observation deck to Pipeline, for the most part I had to walk the bike to Pipeline due to deep sand and steps. While there are several trails that are no bikes this wasn’t one of them, but probably should be."

My hike was 10 miles out&back, 1,620 ft of the elevation gain.
It was a long hike but a lot of fun and challenging, make for pretty decent workout.
The path starts out with beautiful redwood trees, Wide and flat and mixture of hard- packed forest soil, gravel, and sand.
