The center is also commended for its excellent accessibility and affordable admission, making it a highly recommended stop for families and those seeking a unique, educational experience. Some visitors suggested a senior discount.
"The whole museum was set up as an immersive experience with beautiful murals, props, very real looking native plants and trees etc and wonderful sound effects along with interactive education opportunities throughout. It was very enjoyable and a fun museum experience for kids as well. All exhibits were in good condition and I was able to read labels with low vision and it was also very accessible and thought out for wheelchair. There are several great seafood restaurants neighboring the place. I would however, offer a senior discount because many of our incomes are not keeping up with inflation."

"Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon right at the end of August. I was pleasantly surprised by this interesting little museum. My 3 sons all had way more fun than they anticipated when we pulled up. Both sides of the center are very well done and engaging for everyone. The bear cave and subterranean theatre were the standouts for my sons. If you're in the area and
like this kind of thing, this is one of the better. 8 bucks for adults and 4 for children over 5. Pretty good value. We spent about 45 minutes exploring the center and the docks out back. The lady at the counter was friendly and informative. The gift shop has lots of interesting items for kids and adults alike. There is also 2 restaurants attached to the area via the docks."
