"Quintessential South Bay. I grew up in Lomita and the Peninsula was my playground. When I was a kid, there were no fences, no homes, and the lighthouse was the only building on that side of the road. The hills were covered with beans and flowers, which were sold in roadside stands. There were saltwater taffy carts as well, complete with the spiraling sign. Pt. Vicente is the edge of my world. I love to bring chairs to the lawns and watch ocean and birds. Grateful for the cosmic roll of the dice that landed me in paradise. I never left; why would I?"
