What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Greek Theatre's stunning outdoor setting and intimate atmosphere, making it a beloved Los Angeles venue for live music. While parking can be a hassle and expensive, the shuttle service and nearby dining options offer convenient solutions. Most agree that the views and acoustics are excellent from most seats, contributing to a memorable concert experience.
"The Greek Theatre is honestly one of the best venues I’ve ever been to. It’s tucked away in Griffith Park, so the whole place feels kind of magical with all the trees around it and the open-air vibe. There’s not a bad seat in the house, and the sound carries perfectly no matter where you’re sitting.
I went on August 29 to see Mac DeMarco, and the show was amazing. The lighting, the sound, the whole atmosphere—it was spot on. Everything felt really well-organized too, from getting in to finding our seats, which made the night super smooth and stress-free.
What I loved most was how intimate it felt. Even though it’s a decent-sized venue, it still felt personal, like you’re watching a show with a big group of friends under the stars.
Parking can be a little crazy (it’s LA after all), but once you’re inside, it’s totally worth it. I’d definitely come back here for another show—it’s the kind of place that makes the whole concert experience that much better."

"Venue is nice. The sound is good and food options are reasonable, but the prices are certainly at the entertainment venue level (high). My teen said the bathrooms were all very clean and plentiful.
My biggest complaint is the parking. It’s terrible. You pay $40+ to park your car, at the very least they should have directors showing you the best way to exit. We ended up having to go over a curb. Not good, especially for those with low sitting vehicles. It’s substantial enough to perhaps keep me from returning.
If the parking situation goes beyond anything other than a money grab, I’d be inclined to attend further events here."

"Went here for the first time it was such a chill vibe and experience. Wonderful venue watched the freestyle concert. Seats were amazing view plenty of restrooms . Paloma were on point and had chill cups. Cant wait to attend my next event."

Navigating Parking and Transportation
For those who prefer to drive and park themselves, consider exploring parking options in the surrounding Los Feliz neighborhood.
