"A beautiful garden that can provide great enjoyment of nature for a whole day. I highly recommend bringing walking shoes, a hat, and sunglasses, because you WILL be walking to see all that the garden has to offer!
I did the GYM: Goat, Yoga, and Mimosa experience. The goats are adorable, well-kept, and friendly. They may or may not bless you so be prepared if you get a surprise… The baby goats may also hop on your back playfully, which I recommend wearing an outerwear to give some cushion between their strong heels and your skin.
Lots of benches to sit and leisure as well. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the visit!"

"My visit to South Coast Botanic Garden was peaceful, engaging, and full of beauty. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and was happy to find it uncrowded. Tickets were easy to purchase online, and I opted for both the Secret Adventure and SOAR Pavilion add-ons.
The Secret Adventure kit was a soft cinch bag with a bamboo stick and a QR brochure. Around the garden, I found interactive musical “adventure boxes” where you can play bamboo instruments like xylophones using your kit. While I didn’t try every station, I could see how this activity would be especially fun for young kids. I was more drawn to the stunning scenery, educational signs, and variety of plants and trees.
The SOAR butterfly house was absolutely enchanting! It was my first time seeing species like the Blue Morpho, Laparus Doris Viridis, Ruby-Spotted Swallowtail, and more. The nectar ring is definitely worth it!The staff was friendly, informative, and even helped gently coax a butterfly onto the ring for me.
The garden itself is a calming escape with a mix of paved and natural stone paths, scenic views, and hidden trails to explore. The labeled plants, bamboo art sculptures, and frequent benches make it easy to slow down and enjoy nature. I saw red dragonflies, butterflies, lizards, and squirrels throughout the park. The rose garden was a personal favorite with the scent of roses, lavender, and rosemary in the air.
Highly recommend for anyone needing a quiet nature break, a family adventure, or simply time to appreciate the beauty around us."
