"This is one of the most beautiful scenic lookouts on the Oregon Coast I've ever seen. My husband and I spontaneously turned into the parking lot on our way out of Depot Bay. The weather was clear, amplifying the contrasting chiseled rock against the blue sea. There are gorgeous views from lots of different angles. It's apparently a great spot for whale watching, and the area holds historical significance as Cape Foulweather. We'll definitely stop by again."

"This is easily one of the most outstanding, beautiful viewpoints along the Oregon coast. I was astonished to discover the amazing view. On a clear day you can easily see for miles in three directions from a perch that is some 500 feet above the shores below. A huge bonus: it’s very close to highway 101, and the well-fenced, secure viewing area is just a few steps (like literally 30 steps, depending on how close you park) from the parking area. Especially on a clear day, if you’re near this spot it would be a shame to miss it!"
