What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Bob Creek Wayside for its accessible tide pools teeming with marine life and its scenic beach, perfect for walks and dog exercise. While parking is limited and facilities are scarce, the natural beauty and opportunities for rock hunting make it a worthwhile stop on the Oregon Coast.
"Best place to easily walk to and see active starfish and other kritters without getting wet. I didn’t like crawling on the sharp rocks at other tide pool spots, and this location is easy, with soft sand. Many pools didn’t even require much bending."
Yoval G
"We went during low tide and saw lots of sea life in the tidal pools. Fairly easy to go to although parking is limited. Highly recommend!"
Michael Lindstrom
"Nice stop to walk around a beach and look for cool rocks. There’s a lot of rocks on this beach. Although I only found a handful of tiny agates and rocks, I’m sure others have found some really neat rocks here. I also saw this amazing photo of starfish and it said it was taken here. I did not see these amazing starfish. The tide must not have been low enough. We did see sea anemones which were cool. There is a small parking lot and no bathroom available. Oregon ocean beaches are all pretty nice."
