What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pyramid Lake offers beautiful scenery and is a popular spot for boating and fishing, especially for trophy trout. However, visitors should be aware of potential issues with water quality for swimming, limited shade, and sometimes strict enforcement of rules by local authorities. Restroom maintenance can also be a concern.
"Been driving by for years on the interstate-5, and decided to stop by the scenery today... Small fee for parking but worth the price. Felt like a small private beach..."
Seung Wook Lee (Brian Lee)
"Beautiful lake with ample parking lot.
Parking fee is $15 and must exit before 6:30 pm . Lots of tables with shelter.
Also, boat rentals are available here. It’s too crowded during memorial weekend. Water is not clean, algae can be found and it’s not a good place to swim . Dogs are allowed to swim in the water. You need to carry your own canopy if you plan to spend time near the water. P.S it will be too hot with not much shades. Restrooms are not maintained well."
Suresh Raj Govindaraj
"This is the third time I've come here with my jet ski. I've passed all the necessary inspections and paid everything. The sheriff here is so useless that he will find any little thing why not let you go into the water. Injustice! And lack of freedom! My daughters and I will always remember this place as a terrible place!"
