What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Valencia Paseos & Trail Network are mixed, with many praising the beautiful scenery and challenging routes, especially for organized races. However, some participants in events have expressed significant concerns regarding event organization, safety warnings, and aid station support. Casual users generally find the trails enjoyable for recreation.
"Should've been canceled when it rained this year. No warnings from the organization on how dangerous this would be. Running water covered parts of the trail and the trail was extremely slippery with mud. Aid stations were far apart and directions to closest stations were not labeled well enough. No one will come to get you if you are injured, you have to rely on kindness of other runners who luckily were there. Organizers were rude at the base of the trail as well. They are lucky if no gets seriously injured this year. Not a question of personal fitness either, just ran a marathon."
Kelsey Eng
"This is a trail race with three separate distances for trail runs and run competitions. A 10K, half marathon, and a ridiculous 50K ultra race. Elevation changes range from 1700 to 8000 feet so it can be and is very challenging. You can walk run these trails apart from the race. Great views of Santa Clarita."
