We like to earn comps since we both play. We love to dine here, we love the BBQ and the Steakhouse at the top! Both are excellent and well worth trying if you have not. "I recently visited Binion's in downtown Las Vegas to try my luck on the slots, and while I didn't stay in the hotel, I got a good feel for the casino floor. Unfortunately, lady luck was definitely not on my side during this visit – not a single win! The casino floor itself has an okay layout, easy enough to navigate. However, it's definitely a very "old Vegas" experience. The low ceilings and the pervasive smoke create a very distinct, almost nostalgic atmosphere, which might appeal to some, but not to everyone. A definite highlight, though, was the rewards desk. I had the pleasure of interacting with a gentleman I think named Darryl, and he was absolutely fantastic! So pleasant, helpful, and his personality really stood out. He made the experience much more enjoyable, and he mentioned some perks as a new card member. The location is undeniably a huge plus – being directly attached to the Fremont Street Experience puts you right in the heart of all the downtown action. Despite the prime location and the excellent service from Darryl, I don't think I'd ever choose to stay at Binion's. The smokiness and the very dated feel of the casino floor are a bit much for me. But if you're looking for a classic Vegas experience and don't mind the smoke, it might be worth a visit."
