Reviews Summary
Guests often praise the Plaza Hotel & Casino for its excellent downtown location on Fremont Street, offering a vibrant atmosphere and easy access to entertainment. The casino's favorable gambling odds and the quality of dining options like Oscar's Steakhouse and Hash House A Go Go are frequently highlighted. However, some visitors note that certain rooms can be dated, and the noise from Fremont Street can be considerable if your room faces it.
"The all inclusive was definitely worth it for a week of food and drinks. Pool isn't very big so one group of children can easily ruin it on a crowded day. We missed the fireworks but it would've been a good spot for them. The staff were mostly very kind and accommodating. It was nice to have a small non smoking section. The rooms can leave a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom. The cleaning supplies used on our bathtub and sink were so pungent even after 5 days it made us gag upon each use. The beds were comfortable though. Rooms have paper thin walls so you can hear the rooms next to you and anyone in the hallways. Right off Fremont Street with tons to do right there in walking distance"

"Our family just stayed in a one bedroom suite for 3 nights. We were very happy with the room. It was clean and large. Having 1 and 1/2 bathrooms was really nice. My only complaints are that I wish the suite had a microwave and I wish they had a flip lock on the rooms doors that lead to the hallway. We would definitely stay here again though. There was a lot of noise at night from Fremont Street but the hotel itself was very quiet. I never heard any noise from the rooms near us."

"Mixed review on this one. As this is based on this specific stay. Loved the hotel overall. Great location, clean, good amenities, awesome pool, and wonderful staff. But on the first night, at around 1:00 AM when trying to get back to our room, the elevators went down. And were down for hours. Only option was the stairs. I was on the 12 floor, which is not too bad, except for the fact that I'm disabled with a bad leg. I waited as I could but at a certain point I needed to get back to my room and sleep. So up the stairs I went. Not an easy or enjoyable task. The next morning I was severely sore and legs were shot. Which set the tone for the second day there. If the elevators did not go down, I would have given it 4 to 5 stars."
