What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitor feedback for the Discovery Station Science and Technology Museum is mixed, with recent reviews of the new location highlighting concerns about cleanliness and safety. However, many still praise its educational value and engaging hands-on exhibits, particularly for younger children. The affordable pricing and friendly staff are also noted positives.
"Unfortunately it was not only filthy but unsafe. There was a used bandaid among the dirt covering the concrete floor and uncovered electrical outlets in the childrens play area. Nothing looked like it had been cleaned in years. Take your child to the library instead where it is safe and clean. See pictures for examples of dirt everywhere not to mention creepy taxidermy. Oh and it was very cold on a winter day in there. Please note the good reviews appear to be from it's previous location which seems like it wasn't like this."

"As an OSHA professional I feel that I am obligated to report this place to the state.
It is not even a safe place for children, so many code violations and safety hazards, Dirty, and disgusting all around. Rusty screws, exposed outlets, thin glass displays, and chemicals left places where children can reach!
FYI: This review is for the new location only."

"This place is incredible and has two floors full of attractions and activities! I took my 2 and 5 year old children and they spent the whole afternoon there. Maybe it's not as attractive for children 8+, but it's still very educational and fun. In addition, the staff is super friendly and there's free parking behind the building (access via Summit Ave). We will visit more often!"
