Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Clark County Museum, highlighting its incredible value with free admission and its extensive collection of historical exhibits. Many appreciate the opportunity to explore preserved homes, a vintage train, and a ghost town, offering a nostalgic journey through Nevada's past. While the heat can be a factor, most find the experience well worth the visit.

"What an awesome place! I was prepared to pay the entry fee, but it is free now! I loved seeing the train and all of the houses. It was interesting to see what homes in the 1920's looked like. I will definitely go here again if I have the chance."

Oliver Chapman

"We were ready to pay $1 each since we're seniors (55+) but were told it was free!! My husband put the $5 bill he was going to use to pay in the donation box instead.
It was a lot of walking and it was hot but we really enjoyed it. We didn't walk all the way to the ghost town part because we were getting tired. (Seniors). But it's not that far to walk for those with younger legs."

Renée Dixon

"Awesome historical spot to explore! We’ve been there twice now. The first time was when they reopened in spring 2021 during the pandemic (we visited late spring). Back then, access was limited, and we couldn’t get into some parts of the historic houses as they were blocked off. We stayed for about 1.5 hours since it was quite hot. The second time, in winter 2024, everything was back to normal, plus cooler temps, and we got to dive deep into the history of Clark County/Las Vegas. We spent around 3.5 hours on that visit. Definitely a must-see if you’re in town, and it’s affordable too!"
