Reviews Summary
Snyder Park is widely praised as a hidden gem, especially for its unique dog swim lake with clear blue water. Visitors appreciate the ample shade, well-maintained trails, and free entry. Some note the immediate drop-off in the dog lake and occasional road noise, but overall, it's considered a fantastic spot for both dogs and nature lovers.
"An amazing hidden gym right by the airport! My first visit was in August the heat of Florida summer this park offers an exceptional amount of shade from all of the old growth oak trees banyan trees and others. You can pretty much weave around the whole park staying mostly shaded. There are two cool rock quarries with beautiful blue water. I saw a family with fishing poles having a picnic sitting in the shade perfectly comfortable on a hot steamy day. There is a nice size dog park and a small but exceptionally unique dog beach along part of the rock quarry. The water really is that blue. The dog beach part is skinny and can get crowded. A strange thing is because it's a rock quarry The drop off is immediate. Not much of a beach where you weighed into just straight drop off into deep water. Small beach but maybe 10 to 12 ft of each that's it. Very cool walking trails of food forest lots of projects around the park you can tell that many groups work together to keep it beautiful. Several playgrounds tons of gazebos and the disc golf course. You really do have to keep your heads up through most of the park because they are playing disc golf."

"Lovely park! Nice to walk around & hang outdoors. There's a dog swimming area in the lake, so you can see happy dogs playing in the water. There's a bike trail that I'm looking forward to trying out! The park is close to the highway, so there is road noise but it's not too bad."

"Spent Memorial Day at Snyder Park and had such a peaceful experience. The trails are quiet and relaxing—perfect for a calming walk or hike. One of the best parts? It’s one of the few parks in South Florida with a freshwater lake where dogs can swim! The scenery is beautiful, the water is crystal clear, and it’s such a great spot to unwind. Highly recommend for nature lovers and dog owners alike."
