What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Museum of Discovery and Science to be an engaging and fun place, especially for families with children, with popular interactive exhibits and an impressive IMAX theater. However, some guests have expressed disappointment regarding the number of exhibits that are frequently out of order or under maintenance, leading to concerns about value for money.
"I went to see the Dino exhibit with my son. Good stuff. If you’re local and you think your kid will like it a lot, I suggest getting one of the memberships. It’s $44 for 1 kid 1 adult without membership. And for what it is, that’s a bit expensive. But it’s still a great day for any kids 10 or under."

"Went on a rainy day while on vacation with two kiddos; 1yo and 3yo. There was plenty for us to do for several hours. It kept the kids busy, running around and just touching and exploring things! Great option for families to beat the heat or rain."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Still a Great Museum, But Showing Some Wear
We visited the Museum of Discovery nearly a decade ago and absolutely loved it back then. This time, we brought our two youngest for a day of hands-on learning and fun—and while we still had a great time, we left feeling a little disappointed.
The museum is full of engaging exhibits, creative play areas, and opportunities for exploration. When everything is working, it’s truly a remarkable and wonderful place for kids and families alike.
Unfortunately, during our visit, roughly a third of the exhibits were either not functioning properly, completely closed off, or under renovation. While we understand maintenance is necessary, the number of unavailable features made the experience feel a bit incomplete.
That said, the museum still has so much to offer, and our kids had a blast. We’re hopeful that once renovations are complete and things are fully up and running, it’ll return to the five-star destination we remember."
