What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Spence's Bazaar is widely praised for its delicious and affordable Amish market offerings, particularly the donuts and pretzels, and its charming, old-fashioned atmosphere. Visitors also enjoy the diverse flea market finds. Some minor drawbacks include potential crowds and the preference for cash transactions.
"I sometimes stop by here when I’m in Delaware. The donuts are delicious—I ended up buying a dozen because they’re so good! Soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
The pretzels always have a long line, so I didn’t get them this time, but it’s easy to see why they’re so popular.
The whole place has a charming, old-fashioned farm vibe that makes you feel relaxed just walking around. Definitely worth a visit for both locals and tourists!"

"Jesus riding a bike! I loved this place inside out! Stuff old and quaint, very nice food areas with Amish food ladies (I think they are families) making all sorts of yummy food and deserts—and they are cheap! To be honest, I visited many order-and-take-out places but never had experiences like this before—crowded, tasty, and sexy. There are also auctions outside in the open place. But you need to pay attention to the several days that the market is open."

"We bought several delicious items. My husband got a soft pretzel. I got mini pretzel cheese sandwiches, and slices of blueberry strudel cake, apple crumble pie, and orange cake with orange icing. To give you an idea of how well each product is made, I ate the orange cake after having it in our fridge for 6 days, and the cake was still moist and soft, and the icing was still soft and fluffy. Scrumptious! I highly recommend!"
