What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the friendly and helpful staff, well-groomed trails, and beautiful mountain scenery at Gold Run Nordic Center. It's praised as a great spot for first-time Nordic skiers and offers unique activities like fat biking and sleigh rides. Some find fat biking challenging in fresh powder, but overall, the experience is highly recommended for its accessibility and natural beauty.
"Staff is super nice and helpful and trails were groomed well, even on a warm day. I love Nordic skiing but only go once a year. So spent over an hour on the green trails getting re-acclimated. First time here and it was quiet on a Tuesday and they have very well marked trails. I also like the QR code map."

"Had an awesome time here! We tried out the Fat Tire Snow Bikes and it was pretty sweet! I will say, go when it's hard packed snow! Even when it's groomed, if there's been a lot of powder lately, it can be quite the work out as your tires sink and dig in a lot easier. Well definitely be back when the trails are a little easier for our newbie Colorado bodies! Staff was also super friendly and patient!"

"Had a great time trying nordic skiing for our first time! Nice rental equipment and friendly staff! Nice, well marked, groomed trails with clean rails for skate-style skis. Gorgeous views of the Tenmile Range. Very nice clubhouse, very clean place, and very nice bathrooms."
