What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise The Ropewalk for its unique blend of industrial heritage and vibrant arts scene, with many enjoying the galleries, museum, and sculpture garden. The cafe is also a pleasant spot for refreshments. However, some have found the seating in the performance hall to be uncomfortable.
"What a lovely thing to see. I never knew this was here and so close to home. Art gallery, museum, sculpture garden, even a cinema. All in the longest grade 1, listed building in the UK. Lot's to do throughout the year, with events. To round it all off with lunch in the ropery cafe. We will be going again. it's well worth a visit."

"Went to see Ria Lina on Friday the show wasn’t really to my taste but thought I’d give something new a try. What made it a torturous experience was the unbelievable uncomfortable seats . Please invest in some seats that don’t cripple you after 30mins"
Gareth Mackay
"Beautiful place, definitely come back here, the perfect place for looking at art and I had such a beautiful experience, five stars 😎🔥🔥🔥 Love the sink btw"
