What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Kites Croft Nature Reserve a pleasant spot for short, relaxing walks, especially for dog owners who appreciate the ample space. While the woodland trails are enjoyable, some concerns have been raised about the condition of the pond area due to invasive species, despite the council's light-touch maintenance approach.
"I've notified HCC of a possible siting of Japanese Knotweed on the path nearest the A27. Very good for a walk and fresh air. Shame about the pond, unfortunately it has been spoilt by well intentioned people dumping invasive species within. I'm glad the council employs a light touch to the maintenance of the area as it provides numerous natural habitats."

"As a nature reserve why it is not being reserved for the future I see that money is being spent to making the area better to enter but why is it not possible to sort out the situation with the pond area which is disgusting , to my knowledge for 8 years.
The information board suggests dragon fly can be seen , i don’t think so.
It’s a shame because the area is very good in other aspects."
