What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the Grand Bahama Farmers' Market for its authentic local produce and unique handmade souvenirs, with some vendors offering great value. While the food is generally delicious, particularly conch fritters and coconut water, some shoppers found the market a bit overwhelming with many vendors and occasionally encountered less-than-fresh produce or reserved service. The opportunity to support local growers and artisans is a significant draw.
"Big deal the man in spot#14 has an enormous amount of hand made sea shell souvenirs, sea stars, conch shells, dresses, jewelry, and so much more. Most importantly he charges a very fair price. If you spin the wheel with big deal you are guranteed to get a good deal! He also can provide taxi services at certain times of day and he is the most honest guy I've ever met. We forgot our cellphone in his car and he returned it to us and made sure the people on the cruise ship returned it to us before he left."

"A hidden gem off the beaten path of island beauty. The food here was delicious. The woman who cooks the fried conch fritters is a little mean though she’ll refuse to sell you conch fritters. And be sure to buy the cold coconuts for coconut water it will be a bit more refreshing if it’s hot."
