What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Ben's Cave to be a unique geological site, though some feel it's overpriced for the limited above-ground experience. The nearby Gold Rock Beach is consistently praised for its beauty, often making the park visit worthwhile. Some reviewers mention a less-than-desirable smell within the cave.
"There was not a lot to see and experience.$11 cash per person. The smell of the cave was less than desirable and just not impressive (in my opinion). The trail has some information but very little to see in terms of flowers or wildlife.
It’s just a lot of basic terrain with some information plaques throughout.
If you park and walk across to enjoy Gold Rock Beach does make it worthwhile. The beach is beautiful and very remote, so no bathrooms or showers. There was a local who was selling fresh coconuts and chair rentals, along with fried fish options.
No 4x4 vehicle is needed as I saw in another review. Truly the only reason to pay and experience it would be for the beach in my opinion."

"Great little cave. It's not a large cavern to walk through but it is worth stopping by."
