"Hiked up here for sunrise on New year's day as Mt Teide was closed. It was absolutely gorgeous!! Highly recommend for a sunrise hike as you can see the shadow of Teide and over the Gran Canaria and La Gomera. Make sure you have a good head torch though! I went up and down on the same path that goes around the south of the Roque. Route details can be found on WikiLoc. I lost the path at the same section going up and down (see screenshot)"

"It is wonderful place. If you park your car in Vento close to Arona then you can be on the top in an hour and it is worth of energy spent to reach this nearly 1000m high peak. (500m ascent from Vento). There is amazing round trek for those who are not fear of hights. Otherwise you can go up and down by the same “easy walking” official trail. Go there in the morning, when sun points to Teide and you will really enjoy the views 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Enjoyable, short, but quite intense hike. For people with good physics conditions, low to medium intensity. 450 elevation gain on 2.5 km, quite steep. Fantastic nature and cactuses! Highly recommended"
