"Nice place to walk around with the family on a sunny afternoon. Has a little museum and several dining options, great view of the river and the city.
Prepare to for a 30 min stroll if coming from Novi Sad or train station, easily accessible also by taxi."

"Petrovaradin Fortress Clock is unique because the function of the hour and minute hands were reversed for the purpose of the public serving more easily the large arm of the minute hands which was used to tell them what hour the time was because that was more important to the earlier civilians then the minutes of each hour. The fort originally had 4 levels underground and could house 4000 soldiers. The fort, however, was never involved in a war because invading armies win to Belgrade, 80 km away as it was a larger city.we drove arrives the fortress so not sure if there is much to see as the four levels have been turned over to artists."

"Petrovaradin Fortress is a historic landmark with deep roots history of Novi Sad. Walking up to the top rewards you with one of the best panoramic views over Novi Sad and the Danube River. The iconic clock tower at the top is especially popular, not just for its reverse minute and hour hands, but also as a perfect photo spot.
Getting around on foot gives the best experience, but be aware that some parts include many stairs and uneven paths. For older visitors or those with mobility issues, certain sections can be a bit tiring.
The fortress hides charming cafés, museum and historic tunnels, and during the summer it becomes the heart of EXIT festival. Whether you’re into photography, history, or just enjoying a sunset, this place is a must-visit in Novi Sad.da l"
