It is a landscape photographers playground. So many different compositions are possible.
As the golden hour began, clouds rolled in, and the entire landscape completely changed, making it even more attractive. We had to finally just wrap up as it was getting late and the tide had started to come in. Otherwise I could have spent another hour exploiting various other compositions and just those last bit of sunlight bouncing off the clouds.

You can only access the beach 2 hours either side of LOW tide so check the Low Tide times for Greymouth and plan your visit accordingly. You will find large concretions along the beach and if the weather is good you'll need a couple of hours for a leisurely walk and to have your lunch. 5k Nth of 10 Mile on the Coast Highway. Sign at Kararoa Creek. Park car and walk to Beach."
