"I left my car in the free parking lot at Tsukuba-san entrance (the bus terminal on Rinrin Road, formerly Tsukuba Station), and after a gentle climb to Tsukuba-san Shrine in about an hour, I reached Miyukigahara in just under two hours along the mountain trail next to the cable car station, and then returned by the same route. There are many horseflies on the way up, so be careful not to get bitten. On the way down, you won't be caught by horseflies if you don't stop. At Miyukigahara, you can get a great view from the roof of the Koma Observatory."
