"Visited 3rd May 2024. Entrance fee need 300yen. Even though the peak bloom is over by the time of my visit. The remaining red azalea still looks perfect match with sunset light colour."

"Stop one of the long weekend is the azalea park in Kasama. Over 8,500 azaleas throughout the park! Of course there were azaleas for sale and so the two coming home with me are the mango and tangerine colors in the foreground. &&&&Kasama Azalea Festival & Pottery Fair
The Kasama Azalea Festival started in 1967 and this year it turns 43 years old. The festival is held from late-April until mid-May, and 8,500 shrubs of lots of varieties of red, white, and pink flowers will bloom and make the hill colorful and beautiful. You can also enjoy various events. In the golden week holidays “Himatsuri,” (or pottery fair) is held in Kasama Geijtsu-no-mori Park, which is the biggest event and very popular and lots of visitors come."
