"Visited in November 2025
I heard that Mount Fuji could be seen from Mount Yamizo, so I was intrigued and headed in that direction by motorcycle.
I climbed from the Tanagura side.
The road from the Tanagura side was narrow and overgrown,
making me feel uneasy along the way.
After 30 minutes of climbing, I came across a road closure gate near the summit! It appears the route from the Tanagura side is currently closed.
If that's the case, I may have overlooked it, but the entrance should also be closed.
The road closure was a bit confusing.
Since I was near the summit, I moved the gate and passed through.
It was a 10-minute ride from there. There was a restroom.
There were several cars, and it seemed everyone had come in from the direction of Fukuroda Falls.
A short walk brought me to the observation deck, offering a spectacular 360-degree view. Unfortunately, the nearby trees obscured the view. The road was also poorly maintained, which was a shame.
My view of Mount Fuji from the summit was perfect that day. However, you can see it through the gaps in the trees lol.
It's a nice place, but the maintenance was disappointing.
The roads are narrow, so please be careful when visiting!"
