"a lighthouse along with a small camping area next to it.
you cant enter the lighthouse, but rather the information / history center next to it.
this is around a 30 mins walk from ogijima port. please remember to reserve time or else you will miss your ship.
the view here is fine, not particularly amazing (might be because i arrived there at noon, not sunrise/sunset).
the beach next to it can be accessed, but theres a lot of insects. not recommend going down as camping area is provided, and you cant swim there.
a great place to visit if youre not in a hurry, or else petting cats is a better option."

"Without doubt, one of my favourite places. Camped twice in the lighthouse grounds and on the beach. Has an uninhabited vibe about it out of season. I camped in November, so I was mostly camping alone. There were a couple of other tents on a couple of nights though. The lighthouse is impressive and the museum, when open, is informative. Best if you like solitude and watching ships go by."
