"I really loved the shrine and the observation deck. I'd strongly suggest taking the bus (there seems to be no hiking trail anyway). The last bus left at 5:30pm when I was there (couple of days ago). The shrine is very quiet, pretty and has little shops around the observation deck during the day with food, souvenirs and ice cream. You can also buy the lucky charms quite cheap at the shrine!"
