What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Cascate di Carpinone, calling it a hidden paradise and one of Molise's most beautiful waterfalls. The refreshing, albeit cold, pool at the base is a major draw, and the woodland hike is considered enjoyable. Some note the trail can be steep and slippery, requiring good footwear.
"Park in front of train station, then walk to Via Fosso, the starting of the steep downhill route to the parco delle Cascate where the largest waterfall is located. There is a bar, bathroom, lots of places to sit, picnic, etc. From the bar, the route to waterfall about 20 is mostly downhill and rugged. You will see people with sandals but I recommend hiking boots so you don't fall on your butt and you can climb over rocks to get to some of the more beautiful parts along the stream. Freezing cold water but if hot weather, bring swimsuit! Cold plunge!"
