"One of the first parks in Iran. During the day it harbours a kind of bustling flee market. Good starting point for day trips with shared taxis. At terminal end (Mohaqeqqi street) budget hotels line up."

"There is toilet- and many chairs to sit"

Khalifa Alabdali

"This is one of the most famous parks and the oldest park in Tabriz, dating back about a century, which was built on an old cemetery. It used to be known for its peddlers and addicts, and it was a place of insecurity, especially for women and children. But fortunately, now with the actions of the municipality, the peddlers have been moved to another place, and with the constant supervision of the police, no addicts can be found there. Part of the park's fame is due to the starting station of Iran's first tram, which is located in a square on the west side of the park and is known as (Qonqa Bashi). This park has recently been called (Fajr Garden). A metro station is also under construction in the park and is in the final stages of operation."
