Reviews Summary
Nancy Thermal is praised for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and the unique experience of bathing in thermal waters. Visitors enjoy the variety of pools and the relaxing saunas. However, some find the facility to be small for the price, with occasional issues like closed amenities and slippery floors, leading to a less-than-perfect spa vibe for some.
"If you visit Nancy you must go to the spa .
It was genuinely such a lovely experience to bathe/swim in the natural hot spring water in such a beautiful surrounding.
Hot/cold smaller pools with a round central pool under a domed roof with stained glass skylights.
Also sauna is accessible from thr indoor and outdoor pool area!"

"VERY disappointing. The place is small and definitely not worth the price. For 19,50€ you get 2-hour access to 3 pools with warm water, 1 sauna, a „music cave” (cold and weird) and a relaxation room with warm beds (the best part). Oh, and a hot pool (+ two cold pools next to it) but it was closed on that day. The sauna only has two showers and water buckets (the water is nowhere near icy) next to it, so you have to queue. People talk in the sauna and don’t use towels. Many areas outside of the pools look dirty and the place looks like it is not finished yet. No special relaxation vibe at all, it feels more like a regular swimming pool. There is no map or clear signage to help you navigate the place. Showers and changing rooms are only for both men and women. Extremely slippery floor, I have never seen this at any other pool or spa. The place has lots of potential, but it is completely wasted the way it is now. I would not come back."

"The bath is visually beautiful and has a lot of potential but because this wasn't used, we were a bit disappointed. For example they have to make the place more lively/cosy/homey with plants, which would make the deck chair area near the hot stones more attractive to lay down. Also those hot stones were not hot at all and you had to search for them in a cold room. They have to have one small but really hot pool because now you are just freezing (at least there was a sauna). And in the music pool, there need to be played relaxing music otherwise its very weird to lay still and hear pop music."

👨👩👧 Families with Kids
For families looking for water-based fun, other aquatic centers in Nancy might be a better fit. However, if your family enjoys a more relaxed atmosphere and appreciates historical architecture, a short visit might still be enjoyable, provided the children are old enough to appreciate a quieter environment. Remember to check for any specific rules regarding children in the spa and sauna areas.
