"Gorgeous Renaissance gate of Nancy, built around the seventeenth century. It used to close off the southern end of the old town of Nancy. This current visit the gate is closed for renovation but pedestrian can walk around it. The semi circular opening with a central opening allows pedestrian to walk through it. This is one of the most impressive Renaissance gates in Nancy. Absolutely a must visit monument. Best side is from the southern end of place des Vosages with the Arms of René II clearly displayed."
