What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cavtat receives mixed reviews, with many praising its gorgeous location, affordable prices, and excellent staff, particularly for those seeking a peaceful stay near Dubrovnik Airport. However, some guests have reported significant issues with cleanliness, room maintenance, and service, leading to a less than ideal experience.
"3 stars out of 5. You might ask why? Okay, where do I even start? There's zero and horrible room service, there are wasp nests all over by the room entrances, and there are like a thousand flies in the rooms. Literally flies EVERYWHERE. Bedroom, bathroom, shower, toilet...I am losing my sanity here. The only caretakers which do absolutely nothing in this place or the rooms. At the start of the day, all they do for you is just make the beds and that's it! They leave you with the flies and wasps. Other than that, the bed sheets are so thin, it feels like you're wearing nothing on top of you for cover! Dust is in every spot of the rooms.. So, generally, don't trust what the other comments say. This is a HELLHOLE. DO NOT GO HERE. Oh and also, the rooms are all the same size! They are extremely small-spaced. Giving this a 3 out of 5 stars, just because of my family's opinion. But personally, I'd choose 0."

"This is the 2nd time I have stopped here. It’s now called Sobe More Cavtat. Spent 3 nights and a week 5 years ago I wasn’t disappointed. Great location only 5 minutes walk around the old harbour to the church. The rooms are originally 15th century and have been converted by the church who own the property. There is a communal private court yard where food can be prepared. Outside the courtyard is a beach with sun loungers and a kiosk selling drinks and ice cream. Overall enjoyed the second time at Cavtat and would go back again"
