While the lighthouse itself isn't accessible, the surrounding natural beauty and the adventurous journey to get there are highlights. Some note the need for caution due to the condition of the keeper's quarters and the challenging road access. Reddit+1

"The area is really nice. The lighthouse itself is nothing that special. You can't go up to the top or in it at all which would be nice but still a cool thing to see if you happen to be in the area. Just be cautious of the roads in this area as they are only one car width wide so you have to be very aware of other drivers coming the opposite way"

Anson Groberman

"One of my favorite places in Bonaire. This very off-the-beaten-path location is stunningly peaceful; with nothing around but the sea breeze and beautiful views.

The old lighthouse keeper’s house is fascinating to explore, just watch you step! There are loose boards and large holes on the second floor that would certainly lead to a bad day should you make the mistake of forgetting about the obstacles as you take in the amazing view."

Luke Elliott

"Very cool dive site, if you dare! House and light house are nice to visit too! Could use a beach cleanup."
