"We visited three wineries today, and Chateau Yaldara was easily the highlight. This is more than just a wine tasting; it's a genuine experience.
First off, the cellar door staff was absolutely fantastic. The gentleman who hosted us was engaging, knowledgeable, and really made our tasting feel special—especially since he and I clicked straight away over his visit to my home country, Mexico!
The wines themselves were outstanding. We started with the 2015 Chardonnay Pinot Noir sparkling, and honestly, it blew me away—and I'm not a big sparkling fan! It was rich and complex, with an amazing gold colour. The real fun came with their Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon tasting. By offering both wines where the grapes were grown and aged under the same conditions, the simple comparison created a whole conversation at the table. The Shiraz was my personal favourite!
To top it off, they have a great deal: buy three bottles or more and get the same number of bottles for free, plus shipping anywhere in Australia for just $20. We also did a little self-guided tour afterwards, and the entire property has a definite "WOW" effect at the end. Loved this place!"

"A unique experience for South Australia. We read the reviews and decided to visit and was impressed. When you arrive on the property the grandeur of the main building is amazing and towers above you. They offer tours of inside and down in the cellar and some other historical rooms around the property. The restaurant for lunch was great also. Their wines were fantastic."
