"I'd say I have more good experiences than bad at ECU. I think the parking is so utterly plentiful, yet sometimes there will just be busy days where you won't find a spot - there's not really an efficient solution to that, and I wouldn't discredit them for that. It's not really a "uni-life" sort of university. You can very easily exist and get your degree from here without interacting with the guilds, or other students at all really. That can be good for some or worse for others. Some units seem to be structured kinda poorly, I know I've had a few in my CompSci degree that have just seemed unorganised and messy from way too much re-arranging of assessment items. Some lecturers are practically useless in their subjects too, currently have one lecturer who doesn't really know anything about how to do our assignment, because he's filling for another lecturer who has gotten too ill to attend anymore, so we're just stuck with what we've been given.
However, either way, I've enjoyed my time here, and realistically: these are all issues any uni has. I know from the complaints of my Curtin, and UWA friends, that the issues I experience at ECU pail in comparison to the administrative faults at their uni, so I'm glad to be here. The campus at Joondalup is also BEAUTIFUL I love having a walk."
