What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Am Phu Cave for its unique, spiritual, and natural beauty, offering a cheap and serene experience. However, be prepared for intense heat, humidity, and significant physical exertion due to numerous steep stairs, which can be challenging for some.
"Beautiful, cheap, serene experience. Great place to enjoy natural wonders and get closer to higher beings 🙏👌🤩
BE PREPARED - Hot + Humid, a lot of hiking and walking! Dress accordingly. There are many cool spots with a nice breeze throughout, and it gets cooler in the caves.
You can buy tickets at the front, recommend going with the simple general admission type of ticket. You can check out all the caves and many pagodas with this ticket. They also offer an elevator straight to the top for an extra fee, and a map you can keep for a fee too. (they have a map you can simply take a photo of for free throughout 😉😉)"

"Good place to visit - you need around 2-3 hours to do the cave and the mountain (top) itself. Both have seperate tickets (40k each).
Please don’t use that ugly elevator - completely destroying the scenery.
The walk to the elevator level is short and passes some beautiful statues (such as Dragons). The elevator doesn’t take you to the top.
It’s the easiest to go up at gate 2 (A) and come down via gate 1 (B) to you can visit all from start to finish."

"So beautiful place! Don’t buy elevator ticket if you don’t have any healthy issue since like this you will miss all beauty around. Way to the top it’s not the easiest but I really loved it.
Take drinking water with you or be ready to pay many times more since they bring all food and drinks without elevator there!
There are several temples and caves there. If you want to see the best views, you need to walk to the higher points.
I like the atmosphere there! Really relaxing. If you want to be in comfortable time, come early morning to avoid crowd.
There are free WC on the territory, just be ready to leave your shoes outside and wear slippers.
Ticket’ cost 40000.
Choose gate 2 way to walk since it’s more scenery."
