Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the Tashkent House of Photography for its free admission and the opportunity to see contemporary art and photography, including inspiring children's exhibitions. The building's traditional Samarkand-style facade is also a highlight. However, challenges include inconsistent opening hours, limited information in English, and potential language barriers with exhibit descriptions.

"Although the name's Place suggests it's devoted to photography and photographers of Central Asia...it's dedicated to contemporary artist with their interesting works. But no panels explain the BIOS and the artistic paths of this authors. The temporary exposition of photos dedicated to the relationships between Uzbekistan and Vietnam in the history is quite difficult to reach because all the information are in Uzbek and (probably) Russian. The woman in the office cannot help with explanations. No other turists were around. Building palace is interesting to see. Again the Google contact details are uncorrect."
