What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tashkent Aqua Park offers a decent water park experience with enjoyable slides and clean pools, making it a good option for families. However, visitors should be aware of potential issues with inconsistent staff enforcement, rough slides, and the need to bring personal amenities like towels and soap. Some areas of the park show signs of wear.
"The slides are great and fun to keep anyone entertained but it's scratching the back if you ride it properly.
The water is somewhat clean .
Enough beds to relax even the place is very busy and full .
Lockers are plenty and you need to leave a deposit of 50000 som to get the key 🔐.
Keep in mind showers don't have the soaps, you need to bring your own plus the towels.
You can get food and drinks inside but there are no tables to seat at .
Sadly this is the only the best place for a swimming place with slides in Tashkent and it's not the best by world standards."

"Highly Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend
I strongly advise against visiting this aqua park. My experience was terrible, largely due to the rude and unhelpful staff.
There's a significant lack of clear communication and consistency. Staff members seemed to enforce unwritten rules, such as restricting children under 14 from a specific slide, despite no visible signage or notice to that effect.
Adding to the frustration, half of the slides were not operational, including the most popular ones. When asked why they were closed, the staff offered no explanation or understanding.
I also encountered unacceptable issues with the dress code enforcement:
Despite wearing a men's swimsuit with a top and bottom (a common style), a staff member mistakenly insisted I remove my top, apparently unaware that such swimwear exists for men.
My son, who was wearing swimming shorts, was denied entry because they claimed his shorts were made of cotton, forcing us to rent shorts from them for 100,000 UZS. This was particularly frustrating as I observed many other patrons, including Indian ladies, wearing cotton dresses without issue. The inconsistency was blatant and unfair.
Beyond these operational and staff issues, the walkways are old and in disrepair, posing a safety hazard where one could easily twist an ankle or fall.
My intention was to enjoy a pleasant day with my sons, but unfortunately, the experience was filled with disappointments and ruined our mood. Be aware that no refunds are provided if you decide to leave immediately."

"We were just here after not going for five years. It's still the same. That is not a bad thing. The water was clean, almost all slides were working and we had a good time. The slides can hurt a little going down but nothing horrible happened. Swim at your own risk because even through there is staff they work more like police than lifeguards. The price is not bad for three hours. We went in the morning around 11 and there were no crowds. Nothing has improved in five years, it's more important for them to make money than care for customers, but that is not uncommon in Tashkent unfortunately."

Navigating Staff and Rules
It's advisable to be prepared for potential communication gaps. If a rule seems unclear or unfair, try to politely seek clarification from a supervisor. Having a copy of the park's official rules, if available, could also be helpful. Remember that staff may act more as 'police' than lifeguards, so be observant of their directives.
Despite these challenges, many visitors still find the park enjoyable. The key is to manage expectations regarding staff interactions and to be flexible with the rules as they are applied.
Slide Experience and Safety
Safety is a concern for some, with one review mentioning that staff function more like 'police' than lifeguards. This suggests that while staff are present, visitors should exercise personal caution and be aware of their surroundings. The walkways are also described as old and in disrepair in some areas, posing a potential tripping hazard.
Despite these points, the overall sentiment is that the slides provide entertainment. It's recommended to ride responsibly and be mindful of the condition of the park's infrastructure.
