"One of our favorite spots to stop in Maine. The views and ocean and surrounding neighborhoods are spectacular. Even in the busy summer, this is an inspiring place. We also came back in the fall, when it was much more peaceful and serene. My favorite activity at spots like this? Find one of the benches facing the ocean, sit down, and do nothing."

"What a lovely coastal stop to see the beautiful lighthouse! It being situated across on a little island makes this pretty unique. There's quite a good number of parking spots and cars move in and out very quickly. The welcome center is also interesting to visit, has lots of cute Maine merchandise as well as bathrooms. There is a Fox lobster restaurant right next door that has awesome view of the coast and the lighthouse."

"Very cute and picturesque lighthouse scene! I could have sat on the bench for hours, taking in the surrounding beauty, even on a cloudy windy day. Nice gift shop too! No fee for parking, but it is a popular spot for tour buses, so the small lot can be crowded and busy."
