"Grassy large area park with lake view. Check the website for lake toxicity levels! Limited parking 1 handicap space) at the lake, but 2 other lots are larger with multiple spaces for handicap. Walk from the parking areas to paved trails that circle the park. A small portion of the trail is a (wooden, not concrete) boardwalk that cuts above a sensitive lakeside wetland. The wild flowers and birds are lovely in this area! Swimming and boating permitted from the westside dock area, but again, check for lake toxicity. The entire park is noisy from cars during peak traffic times (like 6pm). The eastside trail is on an incline and a lot more challenging for those with impairments. But the entire park is accessible to wheelchairs and rollators. Great place for families and crowds. Didn't try the restroom; there are find multiple portapotties in different locations (central and eastside). Pool was closed during our visit, but looking forward to coming back to try out the waterslide. Ropes course, basketball hoops, and a playground. Suggestion for park staff: A concrete barrier may cut down on the heavy car noise? Also, toxic algae sun needs to be bigger and closer to/at the beach! Thank you 😊"
