What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise the Northshore Athletic Fields for their well-kept baseball facilities, including both turf and classic dirt fields, and the enjoyable atmosphere during games and tournaments. The nearby Samamis River trail and local dining options are also highlighted as positives. However, the gravel parking lot's condition, with its deep potholes, is a recurring point of dissatisfaction.
"I love the area and how it can be used as parking for the trail, or local restaurants and breweries nearby. Main thing bad about this place is the parking lot. It has the worst gravel ground that gets pot holes as big as 3 feet long and even a foot deep. This makes it super hard for cars with low bodies. They re-do the parking lot ever year or two but they could make it a lot easier on themselves If they would just pave it. Baseball fields are nice and decently well kept, they have turf fields as well which are nice. During the summer and maybe popular baseball weekends, the food stand is open and they sell snacks and food you could get at any stadium such as hot dogs. They also have ice cream to cool you down on a hot day. Overall, a pretty good place to park or to play baseball especially during the summer."
