What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking beauty of the tulip fields, calling it an unforgettable spring outing perfect for photography and family fun. The farm is well-maintained with friendly staff and offers enjoyable activities like wine tasting and kids' rides. However, some find the admission and flower-picking prices steep, especially outside of peak tulip season when the summer flowers may not impress.
"My recent visit to Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm on July 27th was unfortunately a letdown. Having just missed the tulip season, I opted to see their "Summer Flowers," but the $16 per person admission fee felt entirely unjustified. The hot weather had clearly taken its toll, leaving the flowers looking parched and far from their best, which really detracted from the experience.
The pricing for picking your own flowers was equally steep; a small vase cost an additional $20, and a larger bucket was $30. Given the condition of the flowers, these prices felt exorbitant.
Overall, I cannot recommend visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm outside of tulip season. The summer flower display simply doesn't warrant the high cost of admission or the additional fees for picking."

"We had a great family day at the farm. Weekends are very busy but they have it well organized with timed ticketed entry. Lots of vendors from food to crafts. Free animal wagons for the kids to ride in and a nice gift shop."

"I purchased the seasonal pass and have visited several times since! The place is stunning with beautiful flowers and an amazing atmosphere. Weekends are lively, filled with friendly faces and laughter. In contrast, weekdays are calm and relaxing, offering more freedom for photoshoots or simply enjoying the scenery. It’s definitely worth it!"
